What we do

Services built around your move.

Nevada leans on packing and storage. Desert heat requires climate-controlled handling for electronics, art, and anything with adhesive or vinyl, and the enormous California-to-Nevada inbound flow means many households arrive before their new home is ready. White glove work is common in Summerlin and Lake Las Vegas.

  1. Long Distance

Cross-country and interstate relocations. We coordinate logistics, customs paperwork, and destination unpacking — all door to door.

  2. White Glove

Concierge moving at the top of the range: we pack every item, move it, unpack it, put the furniture where you want it, and hang the artwork.

  3. Residential

Studios through to large family houses. Furniture comes apart, travels, and goes back together — and the crew stays until each room is set.

  4. Commercial

Office relocations handled after hours or over weekends, so your team is working from the new space on Monday morning — no downtime.

  5. Packing & Crating

Gallery-standard packing for artwork, antiques, and delicate pieces — and purpose-built crates made at your address when stock sizes don't fit.

  6. Storage

Secure, climate-controlled units under round-the-clock monitoring — a few weeks or a few years, insured and inventoried the whole time.

Pricing

What your Nevada move actually costs, and why.

We would rather explain the price than advertise one. A number produced without a survey has nothing behind it, which is how people end up owing more than they were told. These are the factors that move the cost of a Nevada move — itemized up front, fixed once agreed.

01Distance and lane
Your route sets the floor. Our Nevada lanes run from about 270 miles to California out to roughly 2,370 miles to Florida. Sharing a trailer with other households costs less than a dedicated truck; a dedicated truck buys you a delivery date instead of a spread.
02Access at both ends
Loading conditions swing the bill more than most people expect. A driveway you can back a fifty-three-foot trailer into is a different job from a third-floor walk-up on a permit-only street. We look at the approach at origin and destination up front so nothing is discovered with the truck already loaded.
03How much packing you want
Packing scope is the lever customers control most directly. Full service is the common choice on interstate lanes because a properly packed carton is the difference between a load that arrives whole and one that doesn't. A split — you do the soft goods, we do glass, art and electronics — is just as workable. Built-to-fit crates for anything oversized are quoted on their own.
04Storage between dates
Few moves go straight from door to door on the same day. Where they don't, we hold the shipment in storage-in-transit under the same inventory, and the cost of those weeks is written into your quote from the start. Climate-controlled space is the sensible choice for wood, leather, and anything with a circuit board.
05Valuation and protection
Coverage is not optional on an interstate move — the federal minimum released-value protection is built into every shipment for free. What you choose is whether to step up to Full Value Protection, which repairs, replaces, or settles at market value and is the sensible call for a high-value load.
Local notes

Leaving Nevada: the local detail that matters.

Every state has its own access problems, weather windows, and rules. Here's what shapes a Nevada move in practice.

STEP 01

Roads & access

I-15 links Las Vegas to Southern California and Salt Lake City; I-80 carries Reno's traffic east and west. Most of the Las Vegas valley is newer construction with wide streets and easy truck access, but the gated master-planned communities require advance gate registration and often restrict move hours. High-rise condos near the Strip need certificates of insurance and reserved freight elevators. Between the two metros lies several hundred miles of open desert with few services. Main corridors: I-15, I-80, I-215, US-95.

STEP 02

Timing your move

Summer in Las Vegas is the operational constraint: June through September routinely exceeds 105°F, so crews load at dawn and heat-sensitive items get special handling. Reno's constraint is winter — Donner Pass on I-80 sees chain controls and closures that affect any move to or from Northern California. October through April is the best window in the south; May through October is best in the north.

STEP 03

Who is moving, and why

The California-to-Nevada lane is one of the highest-volume interstate moving corridors in the United States, driven by housing costs and the absence of a state income tax. Reno's growth is tied to warehousing, data centers, and manufacturing along I-80. Outbound Nevada moves have grown as Las Vegas prices rose, with Texas, Arizona, Utah, and Idaho the common destinations.

STEP 04

Licensing to check

Interstate moves out of Nevada are federal: look for an active USDOT number and FMCSA authority. Ours are USDOT #4575745 and MC-1820728. Movers operating only inside the state answer instead to the Nevada Transportation Authority, which licenses intrastate household-goods movers — a registration that is not authority to take your belongings across the line.

Good to know

Three Nevada problems worth knowing about.

Most overruns on a Nevada move trace back to one of the three below. We ask about all three up front so the price reflects them from the start.

01

Extreme heat handling

Trailer interiors in the Las Vegas valley exceed 150°F in summer. Candles, electronics, artwork, vinyl, medications, and instruments should be flagged so they ride climate-controlled or travel with you.

02

Master-planned community rules

Summerlin, Anthem, Inspirada, and most Henderson communities require gate registration, a certificate of insurance, and weekday move windows. Approval takes lead time.

03

Donner Pass in winter

Any Reno move to or from Northern California crosses I-80 over Donner. From November through April, chain controls and closures are routine and delivery windows account for that.

FAQ

What Nevada customers ask us first.

The things people actually ask before booking Nevada movers for a move out of state.

We load at dawn, keep trailer doors closed while staged, and route heat-sensitive items — electronics, art, candles, instruments, medications — into a climate-controlled section. For summer moves we also advise against uncooled storage-in-transit.

Typically advance gate registration for the driver and crew, a certificate of insurance naming the association, and moves confined to weekday daytime hours. We file the paperwork, but approvals need about a week.

Las Vegas to Dallas is roughly 1,230 miles and to Houston about 1,480 — 5 to 9 days consolidated, 2 to 3 days dedicated. Reno origins run several hundred miles longer.

If your route crosses Donner Pass toward California, yes. Chain controls and full closures on I-80 are routine from November through April. We schedule daylight crossings and build a contingency day into winter windows.

Yes, under two different regimes. Household goods moving over a state line fall to the FMCSA, which issues the USDOT number and the operating authority that goes with it — we hold USDOT #4575745 and MC-1820728. Check any mover's numbers on the FMCSA's free SAFER lookup before you pay a deposit.

If a company only moves people around inside Nevada, its registration comes from the Nevada Transportation Authority, which licenses intrastate household-goods movers and stops at the state line — it is no licence to take your belongings interstate. That mismatch is the commonest fault in competitor paperwork customers forward to us. Add two more checks of your own: binding price or revisable estimate, and carrier or broker. We are a carrier quoting binding fixed prices, moving you with our own crew on our own truck.
