Yes. Send us your building's COI requirements or its sample certificate when you book. We have the certificate issued to the building and its management company with the right names and limits, and you pass it to the super before move day.
Can you move me out of a walk-up?
Yes. Walk-ups are routine in New York. Tell us the floor, how wide the stairs are and anything that will not turn the corner, like a sectional or a box spring, and we size the crew and plan the time on your estimate around it.
What does flat-rate mean for a long distance move?
It means the number on your binding written estimate is the number you pay. We build it from a video or in-home survey of what you are moving and the route to your new home, and it does not change because the drive took longer or the truck sat in traffic.
Which parts of New York do you pick up from?
All five boroughs — Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and Staten Island — and the suburbs around the city. If you are not sure your address is covered, call us and we will tell you straight away.
