These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website and moving services provided by 50STATEMOVERS INC (“50STATEMOVERS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

50STATEMOVERS INC provides long-distance and interstate moving services throughout the continental United States.

Our services may include:

Packing
Loading
Transportation
Unloading
Storage services

Specific services, pricing, and scheduling will be outlined in the written quote provided before your booking is confirmed.

2. Quotes & Pricing

All quotes are based on the information you provide, including:

Origin and destination
Home size
Estimated inventory
Items to be moved

Quotes become binding once confirmed in writing. Additional charges may apply if the actual shipment weight, mileage, inventory, or scope of services differs materially from the information originally provided.

We will notify you of any pricing adjustments before proceeding with your move.

3. Booking & Payment

A deposit may be required to reserve your move date.
The remaining balance is due upon delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and cash.
Payments are non-refundable except as described in the Cancellation Policy below.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

More than 7 days before your scheduled move: Full deposit refund.
Within 7 days of your scheduled move: Deposit is forfeited.
Rescheduling Requests: Subject to availability and must be requested at least 48 hours before the scheduled move date.

5. Liability & Valuation

50STATEMOVERS INC provides Released Value Protection at no additional charge as required under federal law.

Released Value Protection covers up to $0.60 per pound per article.
Full Value Protection is available for an additional fee and must be selected before the move.

We are not responsible for:

Items improperly packed by the customer
Fragile items not disclosed before the move
Items of extraordinary value that were not declared in advance
Damage resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control

6. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

Provide accurate information when requesting a quote.
Disclose valuable, fragile, or specialty items before moving day.
Ensure reasonable access to pickup and delivery locations.
Remove hazardous, flammable, explosive, or otherwise prohibited materials before the move.

7. Arbitration Program

Agreement to Arbitrate

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services—including disputes concerning their existence, validity, interpretation, performance, breach, or termination—shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules instead of through court proceedings.

Class Action Waiver

You agree that arbitration will be conducted solely on an individual basis. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit, class arbitration, consolidated proceeding, or representative action.

Exceptions

Either party may:

Bring an individual claim in small claims court.
Seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property rights.

Arbitration Procedure

Unless otherwise agreed, arbitration will occur in the state where your move originated or may be conducted by telephone or video conference if both parties consent.

The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court with proper jurisdiction.

Opt-Out

You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to contact@50statemovers.com within 30 days of your first use of our services.

Choosing to opt out affects only the arbitration provision and does not impact the remainder of these Terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the total liability of 50STATEMOVERS INC for any claim arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific move giving rise to the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable federal law and the laws of the United States and the state applicable to your move, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Interstate moving services are also subject to regulations enforced by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

When changes are made, the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will be revised.

Your continued use of our website or services after any changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
